Hactiv Stem

• The HACTIV® stem is manufactured from high strength forged titanium TA6V ELI alloy (Ti 6-Al 4-V.Titanium-aluminium 6-vanadium 4) in compliance to ISO 5832-3 standard
• Available in size 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18 and 20
• The stems are HA fully coated tulip flared proximally trapezoidal stems with a rounded distal quadrangular section
• Tests have evidenced a significant gain in the fatigue limit of HACTIV stems as resistance has been shown to resist to over 10 million cycles with load 6 times that of a body weight
• The stems are coated with highly calibrated HA particles (Atmospheric Plasma Spray [APS] Thickness;155µm)
• The blue proximal neck has a very stable anodised surface that hardens the titanium
• Classical 12/14 Morse micro-grooved taper that fits the ICON™ Modular Head (other: 22.225 mm, 28mm and 32mm diameter heads)
• Crash test results: Average 63kN (e.g. 6300 kg), standard requirements: 46kN)
• Stems are vacuum packed in PE expanded foam eliminating stem, abrasion and/or HA contamination with PETG particles
